The Benjamin stands on two solid ash pillar bases carved with a signature ripple motif, a run of soft vertical grooves that catch the light as you move around the room. The oval top is ash veneer, 30mm thick, finished with a water-based sealer that keeps the natural grain on show.

The pedestal design puts the weight on two central pillars rather than corner legs, so chairs slide in anywhere around the curve and nobody straddles a leg. It arrives knock-down for easier delivery through tight inner-city doorways and lifts, then assembles on site.
